What is a Brain Walking ? it’s a creative ideation technique where participants move between different stations (or posters) to build on each other’s ideas. Each person adds their thoughts to the work already started by previous participants, encouraging collaboration, cross-pollination of ideas, and progressive refinement.
Example usage during a workshop at 1A
For this workshop, we used the Brain Walking method to focus participants on Nevio Cockpit
Participants were invited to share their insights across four key pillars:
- What users should see (content and elements displayed)
- Where users should be able to navigate (flows and access points)
- What the system should communicate (messages, feedback, notifications)
- Which actions users should be able to take (main tasks, interactions, next steps)
→ Gather a rich variety of perspectives on the module’s design and functionality
