_Note: We start the session by setting the participants at ease by talking them through the plan for the session as outlined below.
_Hello and thank you for participating in this session. I’m Antonin and I work as a UX Researcher in COMPANY.
_We would like to improve our design for TOOL, that’s why we want to test it with you.
_Our session will last about 45 minutes.
_During the session, I’ll ask you to attempt some activities on the website and I’ll also be asking you a few questions as we go along. This will help us understand how easy or difficult the website is to use and how it can be improved.
_We are not testing you in any way, you’re helping us to test the website. Also, just so you know, we won’t be offended by anything you say, so please be as open and honest as possible.
_For the purpose of this test, we will record the computer screen and I will ask you to share your screen and webcam so it is easier to understand what’s going on.
As well, we will record the computer screen and audio and I will be taking notes for internal use only.
I will also ask you to think out loud as much as possible so we can follow your reasoning.
